Exciting Updates...

My blog is still alive and kicking... though the posts are becoming few and far between! Dustin and I have been busy working on many new projects and coming up with new ideas for our future. I have a handful of new recipes that I am putting up for sale on the online store, new TV episodes on the making, we have decided to make along trip back east, and the recipe book is still on the back burner. 

This past week has been my most abundant week of raw food creation since arriving in Colorado in June. For the past 5 days, I have been creating food for about 10 individuals who were attending a healing seminar at a local hotel, they all ordered raw food to be delivered over a 5 day period. Wow was I busy! My day began around 4:45 with me and my Blend Tec making galloons of smoothies. By 7:00 I was headed out for deliveries with fresh green juice, smoothies, and a glorious selection of raw tacos, burgers, bagels with cream cheese, pies and stuffed mushrooms... yum! Creating massive amounts of raw food is challenging, exciting and a serious whirlwind of creative expression. Now that the week of raw food madness has ended, I tallied up all my creations to see the grand total:

92 smoothies

54 green juices

13 beef burgers

23 tacos

20 asian veggie noodles

12 garden salads

39 bagels with cream cheese

41 slices of pie

35 stuffed mushrooms

12 rye bread sandwiches

6 vegetable flax wraps with jalapeno cheese spread

... in 5 days!!! I cannot believe I was able to pull this off, it's just me and two dehydrators. Dustin was an excellent assistant and gave back rubs, did grocery shopping, co-piloted deliveries, and even helped with the green juice! Thank you Pa-Diesel, I love you :0)
