This is especially for all the lovelies that live in Boulder, Denver, and the surrounding areas in Colorado. I am creating special 6 inch Lover's Day Cakes that are perfect for all your special someones OR just for you. The cake is 100% raw and beegan, I use raw honey that is made right here in Colorado. Each cake costs $45 and will serve 8-10 people.
Dustin is always my official taste tester, he ate a slice and a half of this cake and gave it rave reviews. I always ask, like, 23 questions... is it sweet enough? does it FEEL like "real" cake? would you know it was raw? does the vanilla icing balance out the chocolate cake? do the flavors compliment each other? is the texture on point? is it too dry? You get the point... being a taste tester is a full-time job in our house, and a serious job at that! It can be hard to evaluate and judge my own creations because I am too close to them, I know too much about them to experience them separate from myself. After Dustin's grueling question session, I decide to take a bite..... I couldn't believe it. It tasted like real cake. My exact words were, "holy shit, this tastes like fucking cake!" It is insane to experience what can be created using raw ingredients.... anything is possible! Why isn't this mainstream!?
