Just before leaving for Connecticut, we enjoyed a few days in Jamestown, Colorado at Paradise ER. Located about 20 minutes from Boulder, Jamestown is a quiet, relaxing, small mountain town. Amongst this small town is Paradise ER, an incredible wellness center that is revolutionizing holistic/alternative healing. Combining healing modalities like: acupuncture, Chinese cupping, Qi Gong, crystal singing bowls, didgeridoo, steam/sauna treatments, and meditation creates a space for ultimate bliss, joy, and healing.

Miles Nichols, owner and creator of Paradise ER has founded this clinic for wellness, unconditional love, connecting with oneself and with the universe. Dustin and I received cupping and acupuncture from Leesa Bolden during our stay. Leesa is an incredible healer who's compassion and beauty shines from the inside out. Combining acupuncture with cupping, as well as sound healing (by Joe,) we found ourselves in a deep meditation filled with healing and releasing. I lost 3 pounds during our hour long session... woah!!! It's amazing how we release physical weight when we release emotional baggage.
If you live in the Colorado area, I cannot encourage you enough to plan a visit to Paradise ER. Paradise ER stands for Paradise on Earth Returns. Miles and Leesa have dedicated themselves to replacing fear with unconditional love and balanced body and mind. Feel free to contact Miles or Leesa for more information on this beautiful clinic through e-mail:

Very cool! I am a big believer in singing bowls and acupuncture for healing. one thing about the West coast, is that it is never lacking in these types of healing. I've never seen anything like it while in the East. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteAwesome & Ahhh!!! Acupuncture and cupping are so beneficial... have never done the sound healing - sooo RAD! I sooo need some BLISS. ;)
ReplyDeleteLooks absolutely amazing! I'm a huge believer in all those methods. I'm seen cupping work miracles on my mom when she had serious pseudo-'uncurable' arm pain (which she doesn't even talk about anymore). Also blessed to have Andrew getting into the whole reiki/sound healing thing. Still have to get over my fear of needles (and I know they are really needles, that's why I have to work on my fears) to try acupuncture one day... and love the new videos :) Keep 'em up!
ReplyDeleteHey Chantal!!! To me, the acupuncture needles do not feel anything like needles, they feel more like a tickle!
ReplyDeleteI am not a needle fan either...obviously, seeing how I have committed to a serious tattoo on my arm :0) Trust me, acupuncture is nothing to be afraid of, it actually feels incredibly amazing! Bursts of energy flowing through energy centers, it's euphoric.
Oral - That's just one reason why the West is amazing. These types of healing modalities are the "norm." In Boulder, healers are everywhere in all shapes, sizes, and forms. I LOVE it! Plus, the sound healing is beyond incredible. I would love to take you and Duffy to meet Miles, Leesa, and the Jamestown crew sometime in the future.
ReplyDeleteOn the east, I find myself explaining what it means to follow a raw lifestyle or be "a raw vegan" and saying "yes, not eating meat also includes steak."
