It's funny how quickly work can spread.... After our successful Italian feast we almost doubled our attendance for the Indian Feast the following night. Many of these people were husbands and friends of the attendees. It was awesome to see the group organically growing because everyone was eager to share living foods with friends and family. It is a good thing Cat and I rolled and entire extra batch of Falafel Balls in preparation for this evening. The grand total was 176 balls... HA! The official count of Indian Feast attendees was 26 people! The second dinner service was extra special because I served up my famous Raw Indian Feast. Holy Curry... it gets better every time!
H.H. was a HUGE help in the kitchen while we geared up for this feast of a feast. It has come to my attention that H.H. has hidden chopping skills that he's kept in the closet for the past 6 years. He claims he's learned from watching me chop veggies 24/7. Either way, I've found my new assistant. Preparing the feast was such a rush that we snapped very few pictures. I forgot to take ANY pictures of us eating AND of Miles and Joe doing their sound healing session after dinner... it was too good to remember to grab the camera!
The Indian Feast is a meal where you can do no wrong... it's a variety of curries, dips and dressings that can all be piled on top of one another to create a dynamic, flavor explosion that leaves you speechless! The menu consisted of:

Falafel Balls
While Falafel is traditionally a Mediterranean food... I like to throw tradition out the window. Pairing these with curry is the best thing since sliced bread!
Vanilla Bean Cheesecake with Citrus Glaze
If you're not sold on raw food... this will seal the deal. A fermented cheesecake sweetened with local raw honey and topped with a rich puree of Medjool dates and fresh orange juice.
Here is a picture of the Sound Healers playing their Didgeridoos to the Indian Feast moments before we began the dinner service. They joined us for the feast and an evening of Sacred Sound Healing. This is a powerful form of healing using frequency and sound to help the body release, relax, and rejuvenate. Miles and Joe play didgeridoos, crystal singing bowls, chimes, flutes, and use chanting to relax your mind, body, and spirit. Miles has a Wellness Center in Jamestown, Colorado, which is about 20 minutes from the retreat center. For more information on his Wellness Center click HERE. H.H. and I have had the pleasure of receiving private and group sessions from Miles and Joe at their Wellness Center, it's just amazing! I knew my experiences with their sessions were life changing but I wasn't sure how the retreat attendees would respond. Let's just say... after one hour of sound healing the entire group was transformed. It was THE topic of conversation the following day. In fact, everyone was so excited about the results that I asked Miles and Joe to join us at the upcoming Allenspark Rawluck on June 18th... they said yes!
